  • LEARN

If you prefer water-based products but are unhappy about the cocktail of ingredients packed into many commercial creams and lotions, then this course is for you.

Using alternatives to petroleum derived emulsifiers and preservatives approved by the Soil Association, you will learn to make your own creams and lotions from organic cold pressed plant oils and butters.

To make a cream or lotion it is necessary to hold together two dissimilar ingredients – oil and water. An emulsifier is the ‘magic’ element to making your first cream or lotion and during this course you will master the 3 stages of emulsification.

  • MAKE

After mastering the stages of emulsification, you will make your first cream or lotion. You will have the opportunity to formulate a hand cream, body lotion and even a nourishing hair conditioner.

All products made during your time at BALMOLOGY® are beautifully packaged for you to take home and enjoy. You'll receive a course pack containing recipes and information to re-create your products at home.
